My name is Michelle Murray and I have about five years experience working with cats and dogs professionally!

I've worked as an independent dog walker with licensed companies in both Pennsylvania and Oregon. I have walked dogs both big and small, and have handled many dozens of different breeds. Some dogs I've walked have had special needs, most recently a rescued Great Dane with only three legs. I am comfortable with dogs with aggressive personalities, or with dogs that are shy and in need of extra patience. In the past I have walked dogs both one at a time, or up to five at a time in a group or "pack" walk or hike. Over the years I have done a several overnight stays with dogs and various pet & house sitting duties as well.

I also have experience at various daycare and boarding facilities. In addition to walks and playtime, my duties there included feedings, administering medication, cleaning, and giving baths. At one location, I was promoted to shift manager on weekends, leaving me in charge of the facility, the animals, and other employees while no other manager was on duty. I also occasionally worked overnight shifts at some of these boarding facilities.

Perhaps most importantly, I myself have owned at least one cat since I was three, and have owned two dogs over the past fifteen years. I know how important pets can be in one's life, and I strive to give the dogs and cats I work with as much love, attention, and care that my own pets would receive at home. Nothing makes me happier than caring for animals, whether they are my own or someone else's fluffy friend. I dream of one day owning an animal sanctuary of some kind. For now, I want to help give others' pets the best life possible!

I currently live in Corvallis, where I have just moved from Pennsylvania. My schedule is potentially open for all days and hours, including holidays.
