I have been a dog owner and an animal lover for my whole life. I currently own a very friendly, energetic one-year-old border collie who I couldn't live without, and before him I had a shih-tzu from puppy hood through old age. I regularly play fetch with my pup, take him camping, and take him hiking on the trails in town and also in the woods. I am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs. I also owned an inside/outside cat for 7 years and have plenty of experience with cat care. I have owned several rodents, two lizards, and multiple small snakes. I have experience caring for large snakes and lizards. I am comfortable with birds.
