I am an experienced dog owner with a true love of animals. I have dogs of my own that are all well behaved and range from Chihuahua to Boxer size.
Knowledge of dog behavior: I am knowledgable in using dog body language to interpret a dog's attitude toward varying situations. I have done both reading on the subject and have practiced applying that reading to real life situations with my own dogs and the dogs of my friends. I am also constantly learning and building on my previous knowledge base.
Exercise: I am willing to exercise your dogs as much as they need. If you have a larger dog that enjoys running, I can do that. If you have a dog that simply enjoys leisurely walks arounds the neighbors or local parks, I can do that too. If you have a dog that loves playing with toys, I am an excellent playmate.
Transportation: I own my own SUV and can transport your dogs to local parks, vet appointments, and to and from my own house. I have a dog hammock of the back seat that prevents your pup from getting tossed into the floorboard when stopping. If you prefer, I also have the use of medium and large pet seat belt harnesses.
Socialization: I am also willing to share my own pack of dogs to help socialize your dog, either in my own home or in your home. Although I am not a certified animal trainer, I am very knowledgable and experienced with many aspects of dog training.
Availability: I am a non smoker and I am available for flexible scheduling including early morning, days, nights and most weekends. I am willing to watch your dog(s) in your house or in my own. I have a very secure backyard (we have a little escape chihuahua of our own) and a pup friendly house. I will also de-poop your yard.
Grooming: I am not a certified dog groomer, but I have plenty of experience bathing and brushing dogs of pretty much every hair type and size. I also have experience with dogs that are fearful of bath time. I will brush your dog as often as you request.

Although I am most knowledgable about dogs I have also owned pet cats, chinchillas, Guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, lizards, rats, chickens, ducks, and fish (I grew up out in the country on an old farm in Texas).
