Hello! My name is Michael Gendernalik, I am 23 and recently new to the Portland area. I am a graduate of Michigan State University and work at Mercy Corps Northwest in downtown Portland.

I would be an excellent care giver for your pet, as I grew up with a slew of them. At my house we had at minimum 2 dogs at all times, all of them growing old into their teen years due to the love and care we showed them. We also had outdoor cats, quail, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and a turtle. Despite the large number of pets, all were loved and cared for by me and my helping siblings. As the youngest, at some point my siblings left and I was put in charge of animals predominantly on my own. My parents then decided to start raising dogs to be used to help people with disabilities, which I also assisted in.

Pets are such a joy to have around the house and remind you that you're loved, despite the day you've had and I would love to extend my care and experience to your pet. I also truthfully miss my pups from back home, so this would also be a great service to me as well!
