Michaela’s Bio

I have always loved animals. We've always had dogs in my family, and all of our dogs are rescued from animal shelters. The latest dog we adopted was (unexpectedly) pregnant, and I helped her deliver the pups--so nothing really fazes me.

In addition to our dogs, we've always had horses in my family. We are currently living on a 5-horse farm, where I'm responsible for their daily care--from mucking stalls and keeping the barn neat, to cleaning tack, to horse exercising, grooming, and caring for their injuries.

Our barn is also home to six crazy cats--so I'm comfortable and familiar with taking care of feline friends too.

I live in Carlisle, PA, but will be attending school in Poughkeepsie, NY for most of the year--I have a car with me, so some travel isn't a problem.
