Hello, my n, ame is Katie and I am a nursing student at Newberry College. I am also a previous veterinary technician. I stopped because I became pregnant and had some difficulties and so it it unfortunately became necessary for me to quit my job at the vet hospital. However I still work with animals on a daily basis; I have a German Shepherd that I am training to be a service dog/therapy dog and I have also helped train horses in my spare time. I have done lots of volunteer and adoption work with cats as well. I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes, including farm animals, livestock, and exotic animals. I am very big on Holistic medicinal practices and natural training.. There is no dog too big or too small that I have not been able to handle, though I do not approve of an owner allowing a dog to bite someone just because they are affectionate for their pet.This is poor manners, even in the dog world, and very dangerous. However I do understand that some people have pets that are skittish or have been in bad situations and have trigger reactions. This is different and I am more than glad to work with you you and your pet to try and resolve such issues.
