I rescued a 6 month old Pit Bull mix from Young-Williams Animal Center almost 2 years ago & it was one of the best decisions I've made thus far. He was a wily thing back then, but with lots of love and patience, I've helped him become much more well behaved and social. Growing up, my family had a totally of 3 Weimaraners--another large breed, high energy dog--so I have plenty of experience with the big ones. I also pet sit my mom's tiny Papillon quite frequently. I have experience with dogs with allergies, dogs on medications, and dogs with limitations on movement, specifically due to hip dysplasia.

As far as puppies go, I have actually helped 2 dogs deliver a litter of puppies each, and I helped care for them until they were old enough to leave their mothers' sides. Needless to say, I am aware and comfortable with the amount of attention puppies require.

I have had cats in the past. I have experience with indoor, declawed cats, curious outdoor cats, and cats that are somewhere in between the two! Scooping and even changing out a litter box don't scare me a bit!

I love being outside, so taking my dog (or any dog) for a walk is something I really enjoy. I'm also very conscious of my dog's food intake, especially his portions so you won't have to worry about me underfeeding or overfeeding your pets. Also, taking my dog outside to relieve himself is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do before bed...I do NOT enjoy cleaning up pet accidents so bathroom breaks happen frequently around me.

I am also comfortable bathing and brushing both dogs and cats as long as they're comfortable with me doing it!
