I am a current UT student majoring in Animal Science with minors in Biological Sciences, Wildlife and Fisheries Science, and Forestry. I have non-professional pet sitting experience-sitting family pets and friend's pets. I have owned and taken care of many species of pets over the years. I have experience with farm animals to extra-large dogs to rats! (I also love ALL breeds of dogs and "power breeds" are not an issue!) I have taken dogs through the Canine Good citizen programs for obedience and therapy/support and used to routinely take my German Shepherd to nursing homes for therapy and schools for education! I worked as a Vet Tech for several years and have experience with basic first aid and can perform canine/feline CPR but I am not certified (yet!).

-I am comfortable giving medications/injections and taking care of animals with special needs
-I am willing to come to your home to sit/stay :) while you and your family enjoy a trip (with advance notice and possibly short-notice)...and we can discuss any other types of duties that may need to be done if you are on a trip (mail, trash, watering plants) and any POSSIBLE extra charges for those tasks...if I'm just checking the mail that would be silly to charge extra!
-I will take pets overnight in my own home if they are dog, cat, and roommate friendly! I have two dogs, a cat, and two human roommates that love new friends!
-I am also familiar with FaceTime and Skype in case you would like to "talk" to your furry (or scaley or feathery) friend.
-Bathing and nail trim services available for all types of animals (able to trim goat and sheep hooves too if ever needed!)

I know that when you go out of town or even for a long day of work you want to low that your pet is taken care of and it is important to me to provide a service to allow people to relax and not have to worry if the water bowl is empty or if the litter box is overflowing. I also know how important consistency is in our pets lives from staying on schedule to using the same commands that you use. I feel that I have the background to care for your pet and keep his routine consistent even if you are out of town!
