I have three guinea pigs, a cat and a dog. I had dogs my whole life. You have to clean the guinea pigs cages out, feed them, make sure they have everything they need. The cat has to have a clean litter box, feed, and water, companionship. The dog has to have exercise, food, and water. He has something to sleep in. He is an outside dog so he has a blanket to cuddle in. Pets make a bright spot in your day. They also have personalities and know when something is wrong with you.
