My name is Erika Hernandez. I am 23 years old and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in May 2018. I received my undergraduate degree in biology with a biomedical concentration. I also recently commissioned as a Signal Corps Army officer in the reserves. I plan on getting my masters in zoology. I hope to one day become a zoologist.
I've also had some experience volunteering with the Humane Society of El Paso and the Fort Bliss Veterinary Clinic. I actually have a dog of my own; he is a 4-year-old Golden Retriever.
