Hello! I am currently a full time college student and absolutely love pets! I have always had pets in the home no matter what age! I have had cats, dogs, a bird, a mouse, chickens, roosters, and koi fish. I currently have 2 miniature poodles, 1 rescue dog (golden retriever/ german shepherd), 1 miniature parrotlet, and 2 chickens. If you know anything about poodles you will definitely know its a lot of work to maintain their grooming upkeep. I trim the poodles approximately every 2 months or so and bathe them as well as the larger dog because he sheds immensely in the house. One of my poodles is completely blind and requires eye drops 3 times a day with several different medications, so if your pet has any medical needs I completely understand. The chickens are quite easy to take care of as they roam around the backyard during the day, and I change their water bowel and feed them daily. For the miniature parrotlet I change out his newspaper on the bottom of his cage weekly and change his food and water bowel daily.
