I'm a Pre-Med student at Tech trying to put myself through college by utilizing my passion for animals. I have volunteered at Citizens for Animal Protection(CAP) back home in Houston and currently volunteering at the Lubbock Animal Shelter(LAS) in town. I have a 2 year old Doberman named Jax, Registered Service dog, and we have done all our training on our own and getting ready to take the Canine Good Citizens test. I recently adopted a 2 year old Pitbull named Jeffrey from the local Lubbock shelter that I volunteer at. I have trained them to preform any basic command upon requests along with tricks, behave in vechiles with or without your presence, wait until released when food and water are being provided, ring a bell to go potty, sit or lay upon coming to any door and waiting until told to enter or leave doorway, listen off leash as well as on leash, knowing boundaries around the house such as the kitchen, under tables, counter tops, and furniture. I have trained and rehomed many strays that I have found along the way and pet sat for many friends and family. Extra large dogs or aggressive breeds are more than welcomed in my care!
