I've been a natural when it comes to almost all animals since I was a child, but I have always been particularly fond of dogs, (of all breeds), as well as seeing how quickly they also become fond of me. At the age of four, I was already in training; Teaching my grandfather's blue heeler puppy to "Sit" in my command. I'm a gentle, light hearted spirit and I believe that plays a huge role in why the animals are naturally drawn to me. I do not have any official certificates of training, but I do have approximately 20 years, out of my 25 here, of being exposed to all types of animals, (dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and even goats!). I finally got what I always wanted most by the age of 15-my own Dog! The past ten years with my best friend Oscar, a Yorkshire terrior, has made me more than sure that even our pets have souls/spirits in them. Call it what you will, but there is no denying the natural understanding and close connection which can be made between a human being and an animal. I am100% against animal cruelty, and cannot see how one can simply neglect their own pets in any manner. With that said, I do hope that if I am considered for a pet care psoition by you, that similar values are held for your pet...As far as my availability is concerned, I am currently quite flexible and can make myself available as need be. My rates per visit/hour/night, will also remain negotiable, in consideration of each "sitting" job applied for or offered.
