I love animals. I own my home in Ogden, Utah. I have owned and operated a Canine Home Placement. Worked at groomers. Owned Dogs, cats, birds, opossum. I volunteer at the Ogden Nature Center. I work with wild birds such as eagles, owls, hawks, a raven, pelican, cormorant and sea gull. Clean the bird's mews, pull food for the next day, prepare food, feed the birds a variety of food and observe them for anything unusual. I also feed, clean and water smaller critters such as the large tank of trout, chubs and suckers. I also tend salamanders, snakes, tarantulas, toads, tortoises and a turkey. I interact with the visitors and answer questions. I have handled owls, red tail hawks and snakes when needed for presentations for children. I keep an eye on food supplies and report to the Wildlife Specialist if we are getting low. I will clean the feeding room and pick up garbage if I see it and other duties as needed.
