Your pets are family and prefer to be cared for in familiar surroundings while you're away. I am an animal lover who has owned dogs, cats, birds, and other critters since childhood. Over the years I have provided animal care for neighbors, friends, and friends of friends. In 2014, I moved to Blacksburg with my son, dog, cat, and cockatiels to be near family. We thoroughly enjoy living in the mountains and being part of this wonderful community.
As a retired teacher and current homemaker, I have flexible hours and reliable transportation. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. My services include visiting, walking, playing, cuddling, brushing, basic training, and cleaning up after animals. I also bring in mail and take out trash during the pet-sitting visit. I like to touch base with you through text, email, or calls every few days to let you know how things are with your pets.

I strongly recommend Carolyn for any and all pet sitting needs.
Carolyn has watched my cat Taco several times now. The first time, I needed someone on short notice and over the Christmas holiday. Carolyn answered the call! She's my go-to all the time now… be it a weekend trip or week-long one, she's able to help me out.
I know that Taco is loved and well taken care of when I'm gone. His litter is fresh (and the garbage taken out!), he's been brushed, and I can tell that though he's glad I'm back, that he's been played with, cuddled and loved while I'm away.
Like I mention above, I strongly recommend Carolyn; she's reliable, responsible and a kind and caring person. I don't know what I'll do if she's ever not available! :)
