Cal’s Bio

I am an animal lover and happily grew up with dogs (Standard & miniature poodles), cats (Siamese & later b&w/tuxedo) and fish. My grandfather was a vet and our whole extended family has a deep love and respect for all animals. I presently have a cat, fish and a Hermit crab (which I inherited from one twin who went off to college--a common phenomenon!). My cat is a great traveler & an important member of our family. Therefore, even if we visit my cousins in Canada we bring her with us & she is always thrilled to be watching the chipmunks and birdies. Now that my one twin, who has mild dog allergies is off to college. I am dreaming and searching for my next dog.... maybe a small poodle or poodle mix?! :)

We are so fortunate to have found Cally! She is so easy to work with, accommodating, and responsive. My kids hate visitors but they took to Cally immediately and look forward to her visits! She is good with a variety of personalities and ages - from my difficult 5-year-old, to my needy 1-year-old, she meets each child's needs and is so nurturing that my kids are happy and peaceful when I return! We were especially worried about leaving our autistic child but Cally keeps us updated while we're out and responds quickly to texts. For us, Cally is more than just a babysitter. She is a good friend and a second mom for our kids. We love her!
