Cheryl started babysitting our daughter (then 9 months old) in Sept. 2009. She babysat in the afternoons a few days a week for four months. I worked from home most of the time she was here and always found her interactions with my daughter to be gentle and respectful. Her communication is great, she asks appropriate questions, takes well to feedback and direction, and takes her job seriously. Since then, she has babysat on and off and she recently stayed with my daughter (now 18 mos.) three days/nights while my husband and I went to the West coast for a wedding. She didn't mind (and even appreciated!) the 8-page document I created for her in preparation for the trip! She put me at ease and it was a great experience for all of us. My daughter loves it when Cheryl comes to babysit and we do too!

Cheryl has worked for our family for about four months now, and we've got her booked for the next 6 months, if that says anything! We loved having Cheryl with our infant before our older child got out of school this spring, and now that summer's here, our older child enjoys every day that she gets to spend with Cheryl, greeting her at the door with hugs and kisses. While the baby naps, they enjoy lots of crafty projects together, and it seems like my daughter always has fun.

Cheryl is wonderful -- conscientious with both children and specific household requirements, and I'm very happy to serve as a reference for her!

Some of the time I was working from home when Cheryl was here and I got to see her interact with my son quite a bit. My son loves her and was also happy to see her arrive and sad to see her go.
