Pet care in my home $10 per day

Patricia’s Bio

I have had the Pleasure of many dogs being a part of our family. We have owned four Pomeranians with the last one living 17 years, that's a long time for a dog. We just laid Harley to rest this Christmas eve. I had a Golden Retriever for 14 years and she was my best friend,so sweet. I had to put her down just a couple months before the Pomeranian. She had breast cancer and we did every single thing we could do as her dog parents to save her life. We even sold our Harley that we rode and loved so much to get her surgery done but that only extended her life for a short couple of months. I now own a miniture Yorky named Timmy and he is so spoiled. He has everything but friends to play with and I would love to find him a playmate so I found this sight and thought I would give it a try. Timmy stays in our home and never left outside. I take him out on a leash each time as I would do your dog becaiuse I am sure that your worry is that your dog could get away from the person watching him or her while you are away. We will only keep one families pet at a time with our little Yorky and prefer other dogs of the same breed or pomeranians. The only big dogs we will care for are Golden Retrievers. I have been a dog lover all my life . Very experiened with Pomerainians, Yorkies and Golden Retrievers from which are the sweetest of all dogs I think. Care must take place in my home because I work from home running a licensed Day Care. No need to worry, all dogs are kept in the living room area where children do not occupy and I do not mix children with the animals I keep. It is important that you are able to show me an updated shot record on your dog and your dog must be on Flea control of some sort because we have no fleas in our home or on our dog whom is treated with medication each month to prevent fleas and ticks. You will also have to make sure that your animal has the bording vaccine before entering the home and the animals shot records and doctors number must be left with me in the even of an emergency happening with your dog while in my care. I am inspected by Social services for my Day School I run and when the inspector comes to my home all dog records are checked as well even though the animals are kept separate from the children so I would have to prove that your animal is healthy and no fleas and has had all shots required for an animal. Hope that this sight works with finding my little Yorky a play mate. Please call us.

She contacted me about her daycare and I planned to call her (which we discussed) 2 days later on my day off from work to discuss more about her daycare and to set up a tour. 1 day after this discussion, I was already getting messages from her about how I stil have plenty of time to search for daycare considering I don't need someone immediately and she has 2 other families that do. This information was posted in my job posting so she would have known when I was in need of someone to begin with. I felt she was pushy and trying to rush me into a decision about her daycare since she had "other families in line". I politely told her that we would pass on her daycare then and then received another email about how it was "too bad I made that decision without calling or touring". I felt this was rude and totally unnecessary. I want the top notch care for my daughter and I definitely now do not feel that it would have been with her.

When looking for placment for my son, who has ADHD, I found Ms. Tish. She has an amazing program available. She has a complete classroom that rivals many of the preschool we have been in. She has a separate playroom and even individual bedrooms for the children to sleep in. Her place was very clean, she offered a complete curriculum, and she was extremely patient with us. She spoke with on the phone at great length and gave us a tour of everything that she offers. She even showed us her credidations from the state and schools she has been in. Although we unfortunately did not use her, as my son was accepted into a city program, I would definately reccomend her to anyone who is looking for a specialized program and daycare where children can learn at thier own pace and also play. She will offer a great atmosphere and I feel she would take wonderful care of any children left in her care.
