I have both volunteered for and worked in the animal care field for over 20 years in addition to caring for my own 4 dogs, 3 cats, and rabbit.Past experience includes working as a dog grooming assistant, as a kennel attendant, learning first aid for pets while briefly attending college to become a Vet Tech, and volunteering at Angels of Assisi, and my local SPCA. I am now a volunteer at my local municipal shelter (SVASC) and have been there since 2012. I also foster through the shelter when needed. I understand the stress and worry that boarding your pet can cause and feel it's best to keep them in a safe home environment where they can get plenty of one on one attention. My home is located in the country between Staunton and Waynesboro and I have a fenced yard that is separate from the area that my own dogs play in and is specifically intended to be used for furry temporary residents with plenty of activities to keep them occupied. I will never leave your pet unattended outside and they will be treated like royalty because that is how I would want my own pets to be treated. Prices are negotiable depending on mileage and length of stay.
