My name is Kristina. I am 22 years old and have a lot of experience working with all kinds of animals.
Pets: I have owned many types of animals, including but not limited to cats, dogs, rats, turtles, birds, fish, hamsters, gerbils, bunnies, geckos, and frogs.
Non professional experience: Growing up I always had to take care of any animal I wanted and brought into the home. I always took it seriously, even from a young age. I know how to properly care for all the animals listed above and have experience doing so. My parents were divorced when I was 7, so I had split homes. My mom housed all the cats, rodents, and reptiles, while my dad housed the dogs and birds. While at my moms, I would change litter boxes, clean up any accidents (vomit, hair balls, ect.), play, clean cages, feed/water, and bathe the pets. While at my dad's I would walk the dogs multiple times daily, play both indoors and out, bathe, groom, feed, water, and practice basic training with the dogs. While I've had and loved many pets while growing up, dogs have always been my passion and strong point. I was involved in a summer camp at the humane society.
Professional Experience: I interned as a dog groomer at Doggie Styles Natural Pet Grooming in winooski. I brushed, shampooed, conditioned, blow dried, clipped nails, and cleaned ears of ALL TYPES of dogs from chihuahuas to Saint Bernards. The only grooming aspect I was not allowed to do during the internship (from lack of certificate of grooming) was the actual cutting of the fur. However I do have some experience doing so. Along with grooming I was also responsible for vacuuming floors, washing windows, scrubbing tubs and walls, picking up dog waste, and playing with the dogs.
I have also volunteered at the humane society walking/basic training with dogs and cleaning kennels.

I am confident in my abilities to properly care for any of the animals listed above, but I specialize in dog care. However, You may contact me with inquiries for other animals and I would be glad to help.
I am willing to provide services for any breed and size of dog, so long as the dog is friendly.

Service fees may be negotiable and may change depending on responsibilities/hours. For instance a Great Dane will cost more than a Yorkie. In home pet sitting fees depend on hours, not per visit. Please contact me with any questions.
