I love cats and I'm dedicated to providing the same care for your cat as I provide to my own cats, Maggie and Murray.

I have owned and cared for my own cats since 1984. I grew up around many cats and kittens.

I've been a volunteer adoption counselor since 2011 at the Purrfect Pals adoption room at the Lynnwood Petsmart. In this capacity, I've provided socialization, feeding, litter scooping and tracking of the cat's eating and elimination habits. I provide cat care information to visitors and interview potential adopters. I volunteer two hours a week but often fill in for other shifts.

I occasionally transport cats and kittens to the Feral Cat Spay and Neuter clinic in Lynnwood.

I also love to photograph cats.

I exchange cat care services with a woman I met through Purrfect Pals. I care for her four cats and she cares for my two cats when either of us is on vacation. I have also cared for a neighbor's cat and she also provided cat care for me until she moved away.

I am alert for changes in a cat's appetite or bowel and bladder habits. Annual veterinary visits are an important part of cat care. I would alert cat owners of any observed changes that merit veterinary attention.

I live in Silver Firs. I can travel to south Everett, Snohomish, Lynnwood and Mill Creek. I can also care for resident dogs that are bonded with their cats.

Since 2015, I've provided cat care in exchange for a reduced lodging rate in Palm Springs. I joined Trusted Housesitters in 2017. I provided care for two cats in Saanichton, BC from 6/28-7/4. My next assignment will be in Santa Fe from 9/27-10/11.
