Hello! I’m Eva Marie. I’d like to take a moment to tell you about myself and my experience. Pets have been a huge part of my life! As a youngster, I grew up with dogs, cats and guinea pigs. I developed an amazing love for animals that has stayed with me to this day! As an animal lover and advocate, I donate pet food and supplies to the NOAH Animal Shelter in Stanwood, WA. Another way I’ve supported this organization was by having my own cats spayed/neutered there. I’d also like to mention that I have rescued and fostered cats until they were placed in a loving, forever-home!

As a pet owner, I felt it was important to learn as much as I could about dogs and cats. So I’ve researched information from veterinary websites, and my own veterinary clinic staff. Now, allow me to tell you about my own furry family members! I'm an owner of 4 wonderful cats, all of them rescues. I also care for a very loyal, protective male Akeda /Lab mix, including preparing a special diet for him due to intestinal issues. In addition to caring for my own animals, I've provided pet caregiving and house sitting services for others, including overnight care in the client's home, extended day visits, and light housekeeping.

I have an array of caregiving experience with dogs and cats. For dogs my experiences include feeding/watering, walks, playing/cuddling, cleaning up dog waste, brushing dog coats, and preparing special diet meals. My caregiving experiences for cats includes feeding/watering, cleaning litter boxes, playing/cuddling, and brushing fur. Additionally, I have experience with administering medications to dogs and cats. I can administer pills, eye drops, ointments, nasal antihistamine, Frontline/Advantage drops, and prepare liquid, powdered, and crushed-pill medication in food (I had to learn some “creative” ways to get medicine into my more “challenging” kitties). Another thing I learned was wound cleaning and treatment for my blind cat as a result of being badly bitten by another animal.
