Myrna D. Pet Care Provider in Bothell, WA 98012

The childcare we arranged for our wedding reception/brunch fell through at the last minute, but Myrna was on it! She showed up with a bag of tricks to entertain the little ones, who ranged in age from toddlers to 5th grade, and the childcare corner was hopping and happy the whole time. She and the other person we hired also pitched in with some last-minute set-up needs -- very happy, would recommend her enthusiastically.

My only hesitation in writing this is that we kind of want her all to ourselves. :-) We had her sit for our 10-year-old daughter after meeting her just 2 days before and the only thing to exceed her valuable experience and skills was her great energy and kind, caring disposition about children. We would and will use her again in a heartbeat. :-)

This was me and my husband's very first time asking somebody we didn't know to watch our kids (8 yr old boy and 5 yr old girl). And this being a last minute search for a babysitter (the family that our kids were going to stay with had to cancel at the last minute), we were quite nervous about having a stranger watch our kids as you can imagine.....

We chose her because of her detailed profile and even though it was last minute, she was happy to help us out.

After talking with her and watching her interact with our kids, my husband and I felt comfortable leaving our kids with her. She is nice, happy, very easy to talk to. But when she noticed that my daughter asked me to do something for her without saying "please", she was quick to point that out to her in a nice way. She brought her own bag full of toys, books and games that the kids might like. So, she's NOT a babysitter that just lets kids do whatever and however they want while she sits on a couch doing what she wants to do. She was hands-on. We were quite impressed!

We feel that she is very trustworthy. Even though she was 7 months pregnant, she was up when we got back home (It was close to 2am. To me, this shows how responsible she is, making sure that everything is fine). She even did the dishes that were undone. (Thank you). Our kids enjoyed her very much. Next time we need a babysitter, she will be the first person that we call.
