Dog sitting is a hobby I picked up when I first came to the Pacific Northwest. I didn’t know what area I wanted to settle in so sitting worked out well. I’ve had sits with multiple dogs, mostly and the occasional cat. I did one with 2 dogs, a turtle and a gecko.

I like to keep your animals fed, entertained, and their area kept clean. I have a van but rarely go anywhere so the pets would only be left alone if I go get something to eat, usually. I don’t smoke, drink, or do drugs and never have company. I enjoy my iPad and television, in my Retirement! Ambulances take a lot out of you, physically, so I don’t ski or anything real active.

I am retired from the Kansas City Fire Dept. as an EMT after 20 years. I do have 2, 7 year old pugs who are emotional support animals. They are house trained and pretty much sit where I am. They are not aggressive at all and sleep in a kennel at night or if they don’t go with me when I go out.
