I have worked with dogs and owned cats my entire life. And I also have 4 years experience with various fish.  I have seen injuries, pregnancies, bladder issues, urninating due to behavioral reasons, biters, scratchers, illnesses, colds, mood concerns, etc.  I know how to handle each of these and others calmly, responsibly and professionally.  
I have myself cared for 5 cats, the most current which are 4 and 6 yrs.  I have babysat/nannied for families with both cats and dogs.  Also I have experience volunteering with Purrfect Pals cat shelter for 4 months and have dog sitting experience.
I understand the important role of pets and also the cruciality of respecting owners' preferences to pet treatment and care.  Respect, love, and discipline are my key tools.  Positive reward (treats/toys) and appropriate/humane punishment where necessary (spray bottle of water for cats) are to be used when appropriate.  I can work with the owner to do whatever is comfortable with their pet.
About me: I am a fun, spunky, animated, singer/theatre major from Whitworth University who loves Disney, snowboarding, swimming, dancing and animals!  I have a vibrant personalty and easy to get along with.  Most recently I worked at the Halloween costume store.
I love animals and work very well with them.  I am patient, appropriate with discipline, kind, and very respectful of owners' relationships with their pets.
