Hi! My name is Helena, and I am a senior at a university in Los Angeles.
I have extensive experience working with animals; I grew up around livestock, cats, and dogs, and kept all present throughout different elements/aspects of my life. I grew up riding horses and rode competitively, so I am familiar with equine care, training, and exercise. I also have grown up around dogs, large and small, and once getting to college, began to foster them. The same applies with cats, and I have fostered several litters of kittens in the last year. This past summer, I worked at an animal welfare nonprofit conducting and organizing research and development projects, and had the opportunity to work with animals and animal rights groups across Los Angeles.
