Most of my life has been spent in the company of a dog, cat, goat or a horse. I grew up on a 3rd generation dairy farm in Green Bay, Wisconsin and have been caring for animals as long as I can remember. My mother raised 3 different breeds of dogs and I raised geese and ducks as 4-H projects. When I didn't have a pony, I had a horse to love and ride. I enjoyed the company of many different dogs and cats as a child and an adult. In 2005 I worked part-time as a vet's assistant in Blair, Wisconsin. From 2005-2013 I raised Boer and Nubian goats on a small farm in Western Wisconsin before moving to Door County in 2014. I have always enjoyed riding horses and have never met a dog that didn't love me.
