I began volunteering for the Humane Society of Parkesrburg in 2006. I then became employed there in 2008 where I worked for six years. I started as a kennel technician where I was responsible for caring for the dogs and cats that lived in the shelter. I then moved up to Adoptions Counselor. I loved this position and helping people find the right pet for their family and seeing the animals go to their forever homes. Once the spay neuter clinic opened, I moved over there and became a Vet Assistant. I am skilled in recognizing illness and knowledgeable about the solution. I am also skilled in household obedience. My husband and I have a small farm of our own where we care for animals with disabilities including ducks, chickens,goats, dogs and cats. I have been running my in home pet sitting business for the last 7 years. I come into your home while you are away to stay with and care for your fur babies. I also offer services such as nail trimmings, ear cleanings, and anal gland expression. Pets are my passion and serving people by making their lives with their pets easier is something I find great joy in. I have excellent references up on request. I also have no limit on the number of pets. I have cared for, and am very comfortable with dogs, cats, pocket pets, horses, goats and other farm animals. Currently I do work a full time job, so some services such as dog walking I will only be able to do in the evenings. My goal is to one day soon, be able to quit my full time job and grow my business so I can then offer more daytime services .
