My mother has always called me a kid magnet because children of all ages are just drawn to me. I started volunteering in my church nursery at age 11 and I have not stopped working with children ever since. After graduating from Smith College in 1996, I joined my first family as a live-in nanny and, after spending over 4 years with them, realized what I wanted as a career: to be an in home caregiver to children; being an integral part of their lives, teaching and learning from them, loving and being loved in return by them.
