Hi everyone! My name is Addie and I am 22 years old. I just graduated from Brown University in December with a degree in biology and I am currently living at home in Smithfield, RI as I apply for full-time jobs. In college, I specialized in immunology and microbiology and I love all things science. I also enjoy painting, tap dancing, singing, reading, and hanging out with my two cats. I just got back from studying abroad in Spain for the semester and am able to speak Spanish at an advanced level. I have been babysitting for ten years and have worked with families for date nights, after-school homework help, full-day care, and summer coverage. I have experience working with kids ages 5 months to 12 years and have watched multiple children at once. For three years, I was a senior camp counselor at Camp Phoenix where I managed a Read more large group of 4-5 year olds and also ran activities for kids ages 4-12 in art, dance and drama, and music. Through watching a child with a severe peanut allergy, I have been trained to administer an EPI pen. I have also been CPR certified (adult and infant). I absolutely love working with kids and continued this work at Brown, where I ran a student group that provided educational materials and activities for a preschool in Providence. In addition to babysitting, I provide tutoring services and have experience working with elementary and high school age students.
