I have a passion for teaching and working with children of all ages. Starting in middle school, I volunteered at a local preschool during the summer. Once I was old enough, I became an employee at that same preschool and worked in various classrooms with children from infants to pre-K ages. Later in college I became a tutor for different classes, helping my peers learn the course material. My passion for teaching continued into graduate school, where I was employed as a graduate instructor teaching beginning Spanish to undergraduate students. This passion expanded when I discovered therapeutic horseback riding through a volunteer experience, and I completed my certification as a PATH International Therapeutic Riding Instructor. I have taught in this capacity for the past 3+ years and have enjoyed working with students of all ages and with different backgrounds and ability levels.
