Hi- My name is Derlis Castillo and I'm currently a Nursing student. I moved to the US when I was 10 years old and I'm bilingual. I can speak both English and Spanish fluently. I'm looking for a part-time job that can fit my school schedule and I believe babysitting will help. I've started babysitting since I was 16 years old. I have taken care of my little nieces and nephews. I used to work at an after school program as well. Me and other counselors were responsible in creating different activities for different groups of kids from Kindergarten to third grade. Activities included reading, sports, homework, and play time. I have also done babysitting for different families. I like taking care of kids and being able to understand them and I also learned to have patience because nothing is ever easy and patience is a virtue.
