My childcare experience consists on nearly 10 years when I started taking care of my nephews since I was 16 years old. However, I started getting payed for babysitting since I was 20 years old. I have been taking care of children from 6 weeks up to 12 years old part-time and full time. I also watched children in groups of 4. My experience is all based in NYC locations , so I am well prepared with the expectations of the parents, children’s needs and the overall lifestyle that families need. During the time I am in charge of child care I like to engage children in areas of their interest, whether they are interested in games, arts and crafts, music, reading, outdoor activities, sports etc. This particular part always changes depending on the needs and children/parents preferences. Amelia is highly professional and experienced with children. My girls liked her immediately. She asked excellent questions to clarify instructions and throughly reviewed the information we provided her about the children and their schedules. She took the children to the playground and actively engaged with playing with them. She was on time and has a happy and outgoing personality which I find very important in a sitter. She provided proof of covid vaccination and CPR training at the beginning of her time coming.
