My name is Marrissa Johnson . I currently attend classes at WCC and reside in my own home in Ypsilanti. I have 9 years of childcare experience ranging from newborn to preteen. I am experienced in potty training, bottle feeding , timeouts, household chores, Montessori learning/ teaching and assisting with homework. I am very schedule oriented. I like a set schedule and I like sticking to it! Working with children is a passion of mine. I love helping children grow and learn new things about the world. I am currently on the deans list in college for being an amazing student. I’m great with animals. I have a clean driving record with my own transportation. I have also been certified in CPR. I currently work with a family in Ann Arbor with a 3 year old boy (started when he was only 15 months) that I absolutely adore, but our Read more school schedules are beginning to clash so I am looking for a change. Ideally looking for about 28 hours paid weekly within Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between the hours of 7:00am- 4:30pm. I am here to help guidyour little one, assist with troubles that inevitably come with parenthood, help with light housework, meal preparation, grocery shopping for you, and helping you organize. At my current job, we are like family! I wake up excited for the day ahead planning many fun activities like going on fun outings (with parental approval), nature walks, preparing meals together and after all having a blast being young! I really care about all the children I work(have worked) with and their families! I encourage children to learn new things everyday about the world, and I am constantly doing research and learning more to increase my knowledge on things that may interest them. I strive to be one of your little ones first friends that can help make learning fun and everyday experiences enjoyable! I am very open minded to any and all families and do not discriminate in any way. I take on helping raise your little one the best way you see fit!
