Hi! I’m a Rochester Native, who grew up next to a daycare and has cared for children of all ages ever since I can remember. I work full time at Mayo Clinic during the day, have my BLS (CPR) certification, and am in a Master’s program. I enjoy taking care of kids of all ages, even newborns! Older kids are great too, always happy to help with homework or running them to practice, etc. Like I said, I grew up next to a daycare, so I have extensive experience caring for children and babies. I always helped the daycare lady with the babies from bottles to diapers, and as I grow older would help even more in a paid role. Also, my younger brothers are twins and I always loved helping my mom with my baby brothers. One brother is autistic, so I additionally have 20+ years of experience with Read more special needs. Why I am looking for babysitting opportunities is because my husband works opposite shifts of me, and I figure I could help out some families during the week rather than sitting at home. I also recognize it can be difficult to find more experienced babysitters, especially if you have children or babies with special needs, so wanted to be of service. I am looking for occasional jobs, also flexibility as my job sometimes runs into the evenings. I would prefer no weekends, but if occasional then that should be ok.
