I am a mom of a teen, a licensed healthcare professional, a Maternal and Infant healthcare specialist, practicing since 2002, a Childrens Yoga instructor since 2008, as well a Steiner/Waldorf Method Teacher-in-Training. I also have taught Aikido children's classes since 2013. I have taught in Pre-K and Kindergarten and worked as a children's Storyteller and organized Waldorf Puppet theatre productions. I am passionate about providing safe and nurturing environments for children to grow and understand how to safely relate in a healthy way to the world, and all the people we share it with. I can provide tutoring with children in Music, Drama, Reading, Science and Math, though I specialize in Art and Foreign Languages(mainly German,Hindi, and Hebrew, and some others). My Forte is tutoring/watching older kids after school/homeschooled kids when mom needs a break but I am also well experienced with Newborns and younger children. **Please note - I Read more work with newborns, and choose not be around anyone who is coming down with an illness or has recently been ill. You would need to notify me to cancel if that occurs. Also, I work only in clean environments for the same reason. This is to protect fragile and premature babies that I work with. Kids can come hang out on my duck farm 🦆 or if I can come to you, there should be a relatively clean work environment, ideally with windows left open or air filtration if possible. Happy to hang out outside in your yard with your child or if inside, I may choose to wear a mask. And I do work with families unvaccinated or vaccinated.** Though usually unnecessary and thankfully not used most of the time, I do carry an Emergency First Aid Kit in my car and another in my house, along with the skills to match. There is a different rate for Babysitting than tutoring. Also on the farm: Mathematician available for math tutoring on weekends. BS Degree in Marine Engineering MS Degree in Industrial Engineering, 14 years writing and Analyzing Policy for Credit Card Companies. One time short term test study tutoring may be available when slots open up. Preference given to students who need weekly tutoring for a multiple weeks/months. $ based on grade level and group size.
