Hi! My name is Jayla, and caring for children has always been one of my greatest joys. I love being a sitter because it allows me to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can learn, grow, and be themselves. I have experience working with children of all ages, including those with special needs. I’ve supported kids with autism, ADHD, chronic illnesses and sensory sensitivities, focusing on patience, understanding, and individualized care. This has taught me how important it is to meet every child where they are, and to communicate openly with families. My goal as a sitter is to be someone families can trust, someone reliable, creative, and genuinely invested in their child’s well-being. A little about me, I am a recent graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Relations. My love for kids started at the young age of 7 when Read more I decided to become a role model for kids after being diagnosed with Lupus. At that young age, I started my own foundation called Jayla’s Smile, a non-profit organization dedicated to children and families effected by Lupus and other chronic illnesses so that they too can learn to live and succeed no matter what their circumstances are. During my collegiate career I was known on campus for my leadership presence in my dance organization, On campus Radio Promotions, and a trailblazer in my Sorority. It is my mission as a sitter to not only encourage an engaging environment but an inspiring one, that can build your child up to become the best version of themselves! I am grateful for the opportunity to be a sitter for your child and be a shining light for them in and outside of the home!
