My name is Jennifer Hagan, and I have been working with kids for nearly fourteen years. I started babysitting when I was thirteen and became a nanny, camp counselor, teacher's aid, after-school care teacher, lead preschool teacher, and now a children's book illustrator. I love to work with kids of all different ages and backgrounds. I especially enjoy working one-on-one with children who need any special attention. I have an adorable 16 month old daughter who joins me with most nanny/babysitting jobs! I believe every child has a unique personality from day one. My goal is never to change who they are but to nurture their natural passions, talents, and skillsets. I do this by learning about them and building a relationship based on trust, communication, and patience. I am not a babysitter who will sit a child in front of a screen. If the kid is running in the Read more sprinkler, I will be running around with them too. I don't expect kids to try things I wouldn't try. When kids need to learn to eat healthy foods or read more, they will see me eating healthy foods and reading a book. I love working with children of any age and watching them learn and grow.
