Hi! My name is Kirsten Valade. I am 27 years old and live in Newington, CT. I am passionate about childcare and education. I hold a Masters in Teaching K-12 Special Education and in my 6th year of my career. I currently teach 5th-8th grade Special Ed in New Haven Public Schools. Prior to teaching, I have provided childcare to families with children whose ages ranged from 3-10 years old in my neighborhood. I have provided direct care for as many as five children at a given time. Due to my experience as an educator and child care provider, I deeply understand the responsibility that comes with watching children. While looking after your family, I can prepare meals, snacks and provide fun games, activities and other entertainment.
