I am a local teacher going to school to receive my Associates in Early Childhood Development. I have kids but I started caring for children before that. I love teaching and ultimately I want to travel to the Czech Republic to teach elementary when I am finished with my bachelors. I am fluent in American Sign Language and I am certified to tutor English as a second language with all ages. I am certified in postpartum care as well as with lactation support. I would prefer to find a family that would become more permanent but I am also okay with taking families on as an occasional or part time occurrence as well. I can do light housekeeping, meal prepping or cooking, enrich the children with daycare-like experiences, I have no issue driving them to things like the park or the aquarium. I have experience with training from Yourwholebaby and Read more am familiar with intact care. I have a level 2 background check with the state of fl and a CPR certification. I am comfortable wearing a mask correctly for long hours outside eating and drinking. I have experience with teaching baby led weaning classes as well as baby led weaning with my own child. I love Montessori and Waldorf philosophies. I am also flexible with how others parent as long as safety is followed above all else. Overall I am a more gentle caregiver but above all else I value respect, boundaries, kindness, and growth. I do not yell or believe in corporal punishment but do have the patience to work with children at their level.
