I have a few years of experience as a nanny as well as a sitter. I recently have worked as a CNA for over 8 years. I am CNA, Medical provider CPR certified as well as had first aid classes. I also worked in a children's residential treatment group home for 2 years. I am an extremely patient person i have worked with alztimhers, dementia, Autism, ADHD, neurological disabilities, the blind as well as many other children and adults with disabilities. As for my nannying and baby-sitting experience I babysat for 3 years for a parent support group for parents that have childern with special needs. I then nannied for 2 summers for a family with 3 boys one with special needs. While gaining my undergraduate degree in Law and US History, I worked full time for an organization called Teaching Family Homes in Michigan. I worked at their residential Read more treatment center. This was a safe place for children to live when they were not children favorable to the foster care system. Often the children placed at the group home had learning or behavioral disabilities that made it difficult for the state to find them a home placement. (I absolutely loved this job) I am comfortable working with children of all ages and with or with out special needs. I am currently a part time graduate student perusing my masters in secondary education as well as a mom to a 2 month old baby girl. I worked in a professional home care setting managing a senior care agency for 3 years before I went on maternity leave, I do not plan to return to work in the public sector. I hope that my experience and qualifications met your exceptions.
