My name is Michelle and I am originally from the midwest; a transplant from Ohio that is looking to move to the Miami area in the beginning of 2024. Babysitting is something I have been doing since the age of 10. Being the oldest of three girls, I always had to watch my sisters on the weekend while my mom worked. Besides my sisters, I also started weekend babysitting for a few families when there was a need. It wasn't until after I graduated from The Ohio State University that I had my first real nanny job. After mostly doing small babysitting jobs and working retail I learned alot when working with a family. This job consisted of me getting up at 7 every mornings and staying until about 6 at night. The kids names were, Tori and Bryan, ages 2 and 5. My duties included taking the oldest, Bryan Read more to kindergarden and picking him up, while Tori stayed with me. Tori and I would mostly do errands and go to the library, we were always out and about. In addition, I was also in charge of preparing meals and doing light laundry. The Walthers were more like my family than my employers and being with them was the best decision before I moved to California. Once I moved to California I attended FIDM in Fashion Design. I knew while at school I needed to have some income and decided after having such a great experience with the Walthers, I should do it again. This is where I met John, Ginny and Astra English. They are were a cute family that lived in Pasedena. This was a great arrangement because it blended perfectly with FIDM. Astra was three when I started with her and she is 6 now. I was with this family part time but again they became family and I would always be there if they ever needed a last minite babysitter. Babysitting has always been second nature to me. When I am around children I feel the most rewarded because I feel like Im being a  part of their development and growth. I’d love the opportunity to meet a family in the Miami area and Help a lovely let family that needs someone to assist with childcare.
