I have been working with children in one way or another since 2014. I studied environmental education in college and I love to apply my knowledge of the natural world into my interactions with the children I work with. I worked as a facilitator for multiple after school programs based in environmental education and art therapy. I was an assistant teacher at a Montessori school for two years, working with children at an elementary age. Most recently I was a nanny in Switzerland for three months! It was an amazingly gratifying experience and made me realize how much I love to nanny. Working with children is a passion of mine. They are the future. Kids are so full of love and optimism and I believe it is my job to make sure that they foster that imaginative mindset for as long as possible. I am CPR AND AED certified. I Read more have certifications in Project Learning Tree, Project WET, and other environmental Ed based education modalities. I ran a summer camp at an art therapy studio for children ages 3-13 last summer and gained an immense amount of knowledge and inspiration there. I strive to bring these specializations into a home when I am a nanny. I speak Spanish fairly well and would feel confident speaking and practicing more of it. I hope to leave a positive, healthy, and loving impact on whoever I work with.
