Hi! My name is Sandy and I am currently a student at the University of Florida finishing my Bachelors of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology at the University of Florida. I am CPR certified and am currently completing CNA certifications to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant before applying to Physician Assistant School upon graduation from UF. Go Gators! I am the middle child of 4, and I began babysitting at the age of 14, and have experience babysitting infants (the youngest being 3 weeks old), and children up to the age of 12. I have over 100 volunteer hours at Shands' Hospital's Cuddler program, where I had the opportunity to nurture premature infants in the NICU. I also volunteered at Gainesville Health & Fitness' Fit for All program, where I had the opportunity to teens and adults (16+) with special needs learn how to live an active lifestyle Read more by teaching different exercises, movements, and work outs. It was such a rewarding experience! My Other volunteer experiences include: Balance 180: summer gymnastics camp for children with disabilities. Kids at college: fun summer classes for children at Polk State College. I am active and love to be outdoors or on the boat with my family. I am patient, caring, fun, attentive, and most of all responsible. Whether it be arts and crafts, reading, playing outside, swimming, or making fun healthy snacks; I can assure your children will be safe with me as their babysitter.
