Melissa came to our rescue at the last minute when another sitter no-showed, and we totally lucked out! She was absolutely spectacular from the very first communication. She brought her own nanny bag full of toys and books to entertain our child and even left us with some of the items that he particularly enjoyed for us to keep! She made our 23-month-old boy immediately feel at ease with her and was a pro at techniques to distract him while we finished getting ready to leave. She sent updates with pictures during the night to let us know he was still happy and safe, and we returned home to find him well fed and sound asleep. Besides being completely wonderful with children as a clearly experienced nanny, she was also genuinely cheerful and happy to help us in our desperate time of need. She was punctual and professional in every way, and I would not hesitate to recommend her and use her services again!
