Hello! I'm a positive and energetic Early Childhood Development Specialist looking to help families' children receive the best care possible, despite the current global crisis. I have a bachelor's degree in Child and Human development with an emphasis on early childhood education and over 3 years of hands-on experience helping children 6 weeks to 6 years old learn, grow, and become their best selves. Before the current global crisis, I was one of the lead Teachers at Saddleback College's Child Development Center. I am passionate about being a positive, motivating force in a child's life. I love to sing, dance, and learn through play. Kindness, positive reinforcement and growth mindset are all exceptionally important when working with kids. I always strive to provide accurate and appropriate care for each and every child based on their unique needs. I have my own transportation, am CPR certified, and am a non-smoker.

Katie is amazing! She started watching my son when he was only about 3 months old, and has helped play with my 2-year-old daughter on days when she's home from daycare. Katie is always on time, communicative, flexible, and reliable. She truly cares for the kids in her charge. I often hear her singing, talking, reading, and playing with my son even though he is only a few months old. She really puts in 110%, doing research and even making home-made toys to help him with developmental milestones. Katie is also fantastic with my daughter, playing all sorts of games while reinforcing positive behaviors like sharing and cleaning up. I am so happy we found Katie and highly recommend her to any other family.

Katie watches my twins every Tuesday and Thursday while I work from home. She is amazing! I often find myself listening in on her techniques to store them away for my own personal use because she is so great at redirecting. My little ones are in the midst of the terrible twos and have perfected their tantrums. However, whenever Katie watches them, it's like rainbows and unicorns at my house :) My kids LOVE her and she always keeps them entertained, happy and learning. I am incredibly grateful that we have her as our sitter
