Hello, hello! My name is Ashley Bailey, I’m 22 and I’m an experienced childcare provider located in Greensboro. I am a recent graduate of NCAT’s Biology program with a minor in Creative Writing. As you can see, my interests range from scientific to artistic, but childcare has been a powerful constant in my life. Starting my professional childcare journey in the summer of 2020, I have gained a multitude of experience with children of all ages. My specialty is newborn and infant care. I work closely with first time parents to not only ease their mind as they navigate the early life of their new addition, but welcome a caregiver into their home for the first time as well. I have extensive knowledge of infant milestones and experience with sleep training, bottle feeding, the transition to solid foods, and the development of motor skills. I am well versed with essential tasks such as maintaining routines, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I have experience with tutoring and online learning assistance. I love to teach as much as I love to learn, but I also enjoy fun activities such as in/outdoor games and crafts. I constantly encourage creativity and imagination! I’m always up for a trip out and about. I have experience transporting children in my own reliable vehicle as well as family cars, so I am quite comfortable with car seat installation. I am CPR/First Aid certified, with extensive knowledge of pediatric medical emergencies. Working in childcare has been such a privilege in my life and I look forward to building more bonds!
