Hi! I’m Jayne! If you’re looking for a nanny who feels like a part of the family, provides exceptional care, cleans your home, does your laundry and more. I would say I’m the perfect candidate. I have always worked with children. As the oldest sibling it tends to be your instinct. I’ve always loved teaching, supporting, caring for and just having fun with kids. For 4 years now I have been a babysitter and have transitioned to becoming a full time nanny in the last two. By all the families I have cared for I have been told that I have been their best nanny (not to toot my own horn ha!) A little about me, I have lived in Des Moines my entire life and plan on staying a while longer because I am super family oriented!! I have lots of siblings and as the oldest have become like Read more the 2nd mother to them (okay their words not mine). I am training to become a tattoo artist. I am very interested in fashion and all things involving art and nature. Other things I would provide along with being your children’s nanny. - a super clean home. I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to cleanliness. I’m also a super organizer so if the kiddos have downtime I would love to organize things that have been bothering you. - taking your kiddos on fun adventures. I know first hand that learning happens in many ways and from my experience kids tend to learn best when they are doing and seeing things. I would love to take your kids to parks, the science center, the art center and more. I also have a clean driver’s license and my own car. - Montessori learning techniques. During the last 4 years I have done my research on what works in teaching children and what doesn’t and I have come to the realization that when it comes to the young ones Montessori is an amazing option that I have learned (and am still learning) the techniques of. - I am a covid friendly nanny. I am fully vaccinated and keep the group of people I see very small. - Professional tantrum dissolver. Learning what will calm down your kiddos and helping them learn techniques on how to handle their emotions is such an important and underrated part of being a nanny!! -healthy home cooked meals. -even more.
