Military family looking for a caring provider for a sweet and energetic 3-year-old child with Down syndrome. This position provides 20 hours per month of in-home respite care, primarily on weekends (Friday–Sunday) but other times may be available.

This fun-loving little one is very social, active, and loves building toys, being outdoors, and exploring. He thrives with a caregiver who can keep up with him, engage in play, and provide close supervision for safety.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience with children with special needs preferred (training available!)
• Active, patient, and attentive caregiver who enjoys working with young children
• Comfortable assisting with diapering and feeding/snacks as needed
• Able to provide close supervision for safety (child is an elopement risk and requires constant monitoring)
• Comfortable redirecting big feelings and using distraction/engagement techniques
• Female caregiver preferred
