Client lives in Ardmore near a SEPTA station. Fully-vaccinated applicants must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record in order to drive the client in her wheelchair-transporting van to her activities. Accompany her to day program, swim with her in an outdoor pool, visit museums, libraries and malls. Client uses a wheelchair and communicates using an assistive technology (“talker”). She needs assistance with eating, drinking, toileting, showering and dressing. Parents or veteran caregiver-companions will train. Rewarding position for students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, SLP and social work.
